Christina Giving the Pros a Scare

Christina raced in Arizona at the Nova Desert Classic, which is the first stop on the NORBA National Marathon Series. She was running third when, on the final lap, she flatted. This cost her two places, but she got back on and started chasing furiously. And then she flatted the rear, and had a nightmare of a change. Another few passed before she could get going again. She finished 8th in the Pro class, which is a dandy result to be sure, but stop #2 of the series is coming up, so now she's trying to come up with a way to California to beat away the flat tire demons.

Solid ride, Christina. 8th in the Pros is more than most bike racers can ever hope to achieve. That you want a bigger bite is darn cool to me. Take it.
