Now that there's a little chill in the air...
Last winter, Chloe made up a few of these things we call "Elroy's Bib." It is sort of like a vest. Sort of like an undershirt, but better than both.
It makes for an extra layer in the front to block wind without being as bulky as a vest or as hot as an extra undershirt. It is easy to take on and off, even while riding (though, the lawyers will tell us to tell you to stop to take it off, just in case).
I like it because it is like wearing a vest, but without the flapping material. I also like it for when things do warm up, it takes even less room in a pocket than a vest. And in the "But wait! There's more!" category, it also serves as a nice layer for catching road or trail spray when riding in the wet...won't keep it out of your face, but it keeps your chest protected. It is very lightweight and still almost completely blocks out the wind. You'll find you wear this instead of a vest, or, on very chilly days, wear this with a vest for a better layering affect.
Worth noting that is also serves as a regular bib if you choose to eat jelly donuts on your ride.

$10 like you see here. $12 to have it done up with a velcro thing in the back for even easier onning of offing. Handmade by Italian virgins (or the closest we can get). We actually make these here, cutting them out by hand and using some old school sewing machine for the finishing stuff.
